About Meagan

I grew up playing just about every sport I could get into, and that athletic background shaped the way I see the body today. When I was figuring out what to do with my life, I knew I wanted something that would let me travel beyond Calgary and put my understanding of movement and physicality to work helping others stay healthy. Massage therapy turned out to be the perfect fit. Since graduating in 2004, I've spent over 20 years and more than 10,000 hours in professional practice, and I'm still as passionate about this work as the day I started.

One of the biggest things I've learned is that the body is always adapting to whatever you give it. To me, healing is really about providing better input so the body can respond in a better way. That's why I never focus on just one area that's causing discomfort — there's always a balance that needs to happen across the whole body. My mom was a quietly compassionate and caring person, and I think that shaped how I show up for the people I work with. I genuinely care about helping my clients understand that their body is adaptable, and that when you address it as a whole, it works so much better.

What I love about working at Maximum Health is that we offer more than just massage — it's a place where people can look at their overall health and make real lifestyle changes. I'm always adding to my own toolbox through yoga, training, and continuing education because I believe the more tools I have, the more angles I can use to help each person. My Approach

I treat the body as an interconnected whole rather than a collection of separate parts. When something hurts in one area, I look at the full picture — because there's almost always a compensating pattern somewhere else that needs attention too. With training in Thai massage, craniosacral therapy, and reflexology, I have multiple ways to approach each treatment, which means I can tailor every session to what your body actually needs that day. My goal is always to give your body better input so it can do what it already knows how to do: adapt, rebalance, and heal.

Beyond the table, I believe strongly in empowering my clients to take charge of their own health. I want you to leave each session not only feeling better, but understanding more about how your body works and what you can do to support it between visits. Whether it's movement, awareness, or simply making space for regular care, I'm here to help you build a foundation for lasting wellness.
