About Lindsey

I found my way to massage therapy while I was pregnant with my second child. At the time, I was doing doula work and teaching yoga and prenatal yoga, and my own doula happened to be a massage therapist. Watching her blend hands-on healing with the kind of whole-person care I was already drawn to made something click for me. I knew this was the path I wanted to pursue, and I graduated in 2022 with a deep passion for understanding how the body moves, heals, and holds tension.

Becoming a mom of three has been the single biggest shift in how I show up for the people on my table. I am nurturing by nature, and motherhood amplified that in ways I did not expect. I have a special place in my heart for stressed-out moms -- because I get it -- as well as families, children, and anyone navigating chronic pain. Whether a client leaves my treatment room feeling lighter mentally or more mobile physically, the most important thing to me is that they leave feeling better in some way. To me, healing means taking steps towards becoming the most ideal version of yourself, and I consider it a privilege to be part of that journey.

Outside of the treatment room, I stay active through running and strength training, and I prioritize quality time with my family. My background in yoga and meditation gives me a grounded understanding of the nervous system and how the body moves, and I carry that awareness into every session. Every body I work on teaches me something new, and that keeps me curious and committed to growing as a therapist.

My Approach

I believe in meeting every client exactly where they are -- physically and emotionally -- on the day they come to see me. Before I begin any hands-on work, I take a moment to assess what your nervous system needs. If you arrive in a heightened state of stress, my first priority is helping your body down-regulate so that the tissue work can be as effective as possible. My fascial-focused technique means I start with the superficial layers of connective tissue rather than going extremely deep right away. Fascia covers everything in the body and is generally underutilized in massage therapy, but I have found that when you address it thoughtfully, you can ease into the deeper layers far more effectively and comfortably.

Open communication is at the heart of every session. I want to know how you are feeling, what has changed since your last visit, and what you need most that day. When it comes to home care, I keep it minimal and maintainable -- simple stretches or awareness cues that fit into your real life, not a lengthy routine you will never have time for. My goal is for you to leave each session feeling genuinely better and equipped with the knowledge to support your own healing between appointments.
